Multimedia Designer

During the year that Martin worked with CAIS Boarding Schools, he drove from Nanaimo to Halifax digitally marketing student experiences ranging from canoeing in Ontario, horseback-riding in BC, playing Ruby in Nova Scotia, or putting on a play in Manitoba. Martin consistently met tight deadlines, worked independently and managed 26 client accounts simultaenously.

Responsibilities and Accomplishments include:

  • Social Media - Proactively managed Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram profiles. Created social media marketing plan with regular analysis and data-driven action items.
  • Web Development - Designed, developed and maintained various web presences with CMS (SquareSpace and FinalSite) and Google Analytics integration.
  • Graphic Design and Video Production - Utilized creative media to demonstrate the value of a Canadian Boarding Experience; produced marketing materials (print and digital, static and dynamic).
  • Leadership - Organized, directed and facilitated a five-day leadership retreat for over 150 students and staff from 25 schools across Canada.
